About Me

Biography

I completed my BA in Community Art from Wheaton College and my MFA in Community Art from Maryland Institute College of Art. My approach to art-making as a career and calling has always been deeply rooted in community. I’ve worked within and alongside several community-based organizations and institutions across the country.

Artist Statement

I am interested in the forces that shape the people we currently are or push us to transform into the people we want to be. I seek to provide space for others to connect to their deepest parts and share their story on their own terms. As a community artist and educator, I strive to be inclusive of all people regardless of their identity markers and responsive to the needs of the group.
